He wants to quit after only a short time, but I'm trying to encourage him to keep going a bit longer than he thinks he can, so he'll get stronger. In my own life, I can look back see how God has stretched me and prepared me for more difficult things, and giving up (which I often want to do) would have robbed me of those lessons.
