Happy New Year!

I pray you have a blessed 2010!

I've a few resolutions:

1. Work on 1 new goal each month. January's is: start school 1/11/10. K5 starts in earnest. I have waiting to officially start schooling the children, studying and preparing for 5 years now. Now to be disciplined and put the knowledge into practice. Three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) for formal school. Fridays we'll do an art project. February will be something like, folding in and keeping up with the laundry.

2. Read the Bible in 90 days ... I'm going to do the adult schedule. M-girl is going to do the 6-10 schedule this 90 days(1 chapter a day). Two days down, 88 to go ;)

3. Read books more. I'm aiming for 52 books in 52 weeks challenge from the Well Trained Mind Forums, but if I have to drop to a book a month, I will.

4. I also hope to post here more often: The Simple Woman's Daybook, Wordless Wednesday, Book Reviews, and Weekly Reporting.

Many blessings be upon you all!

  1. What is "Simple Woman's Daybook?"

Happy New Year! I also hope to get back to blogging regularly after taking a 2 month break!

  2. I'm looking forward to reading your blog.

Every Monday morning, a bunch of ladies post their "Daybook" which answers a series of questions from here:

  3. I found the "52 Books In 52 Weeks" through another blogger friend Daisy, The Quiet Life, and saw you are participating in the "52 Books In 52 Weeks". It looks like something I would be interested in but I wouldn't be able to keep up with the schedule right now. Maybe later. I wanted to let you know I've updated my Seven Pillars Book Nook blog, it's been re-designed and has a whole new look, with a slightly different URL. I've started selling used books again AND I'm also having a free book giveaway. If you're interested, please, feel free to enter.

    Blessings and Happy New Year!
